She says Lewis was born circa 1779 married in 1798 Mary Burress. Federal census of 1810 listed one son and two daughters. It is thought the son was Moses Chamblee -- D'Ann Stoddard, Los Angeles, creator of the Chamlee/Chamblee Family Network, wrote in 1997: Lewis Chamblee b. circa 1776, married Mary/Polly Burris (sp) -- children were John David, Millie, Jacob ("Jake"), Elizabeth ("Bettie), Sanford, Rachel, Sallie, Isom, Manley, Theresa Marcarina (Rina), Jim, and George.
