Hi:
Isabel Chambers is a familiar name in my family tree as is County Down and this part of Southwest Pennsylvania.

However, my first record of Isabel Chambers has her born in 1805. She was the second child of William (Captain) Chambers (b 1782 in County Down, Ireland) and Mary Hazlett (b 1779 in County Down, Ireland) William is my gggrandfather. The family settled in North Beaver Township which later became Lawrence County PA in the New Castle area

William had a son Samuel m. Jane Smiley whose 4th child was Isabelle (b. 1838)but I have no further information.

William and Mary also had a son James (my ggrandfather)who married Margaret Warwick and who had a daughter Isabelle(b 1857)She married Alexander McGown.

All of this family lived in the North Beaver area.
It sounds like your Isabel may be from a previous generation of the same family.

I would be glad to share any information I have on the Chambers.
