Chemberlin -- where in Ireland?

My ancestor, John Chemberlin, is reported to have come from Ireland to Pennsylvania in the 1790s (Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania). I am trying to find out where in Ireland he came from (father was Michael and mother was Martha). The "e" in Chemberlin may have been changed from "a" when he came from Ireland to America.

Does anyone have any ideas for how I could find out where in Ireland he came from?
