An IGI record lists William L.[Louis] Chamberlain's birth, 7 Nov 1866, son of John Chamberlain and Jerusha Jane Mulford, and an Ancestry.com Family Tree lists family members & data for each of them. You'd probably have to do some digging to locate the exact source of this birth information (perhaps vital records), but he was said to have been born in Mason, Warren Co., Ohio, the oldest of their six children recorded there, whose exact birthdates are also listed. John Chamberlain (or Chamberlin) was born c1839, NJ, and died sometime after 1880, prob. Marion, Clinton Co., OH. Jerusha Jane "Jennie" Mulford was born 18 Dec 1842, Warren Co., OH (prob. Mason), and was said to have died in 1928. John and his family are listed in Middletown, Butler Co., OH in the 1880 census. He is, perhaps, the same person as John Chamberlain, son of John M. & Maria, of Tuttle Creek, Warren Co., OH, listed in the 1850 & 1860 census there. I haven't been able to identify the family before that, but it appears that they arrived in OH from NJ sometime between 1844 and 1850.
