James,

Thanks for posting the information. I had emailed David Chamberlin a couple of times. When he did not reply, I feared he had passed away. He was spoken of very highly. His passing is a great loss to genealogy.

I was attempting to contact him because I was hoping he could help me with my genealogy. My great-grandfather was George Thomas CHAMBERLAIN. George was born in 1850 in Salem, PA. His father was Hiram Markus CHAMBERLAIN and his mother was possibly a releative of President POLK. Hiram was born in Vermont, probably around 1825.

I am sure that Hiram was related to the railroad mogel, Selah CHAMBERLAIN, Jr. who was born 1812, in Brattleboro, VT. There are a few "Hirams" from Brattleboro (apparenly it was a family name), but none of the Hirams had a son named George.

You mentioned you had access to the some of David's record. Any help you could give me would be very much appreciated.
