VT, attends school; John B., age 14, b. VT, attends school; Mary Emery, age 22, b. VT. This Wright is also listed in the 1820, 1830 and 1840 census there. Born 8 Jun, 1790 in Newbury, Orange Co., VT, he died 28 Jul, 1861 in Corinth, age 71. I have nothing on his wife or children other than the 1850 census data listed above. Wright(6) was one of 8 children of Benjamin(5) Chamberlain, b. 5 May 1747, Northfield, MA, d. 11 Jun 1833, Newbury, VT, who m. 23 Feb 1778, Widow Hannah Eaton, b. c1748, d. 10 May 1833, Newbury, VT. Lineage: Richard(4), Nathaniel(3), Joseph(2), Richard(1) Chamberlain of Braintree, MA. Wright's father, Benj.(5), listed in the 1800 census at Newbury with 3 sons & 4 daughters, and also listed there through 1830, was a Lieutenant from VT in the Rev. War, listed in the DAR Patriot Index. He is buried at Ox Bow Cemetery, Newbury, VT. Ref. History of Newbury, VT as primary source for information on this large Chamberlain family.
