Seeking information on the family of John G. Chamberlain who leased a small farm in the Town of Watervliet, N.Y. (Albany Co.) from the VanRensselear's in 1811. Chamberlain released his lease to Aaron Phillips in January 1866, so it appears the Chamberlain family resided in the Town of Watervliet for about a half century.
