I see the reply from James Parker and it appears that you may have some solid leads. Since you don't know the source ofthe information, I encourage you to contact the author of the tree or follow up on the sources yourself.
I also have a Jeremiah Chamberlin (lain) in my family tree. He was born in Boston August 22, 1855. His father, also my gg grandfather, John Chamberlin, was born in County Cork (Innishannon) also and may be related to the John Chamberlain and Mary Kelly mentioned by James Parker, although it is not the same John Chamberlin. My John's parents were John Chamberlin and Mary (?), but the dates aren't right to be the same John and Mary Kelly.. He (my ggg grandfather) would have to be born before 1807.
Let me know if I can be of any help. It doesn't sound like we have a direct match.
