I have some info re: a Marie Chagnon who was born in Canada (but may have been Milton, VT.)in 1843 to (we think) John Chagnon and Celia Trudeau. She was married in 1871 to Joseph Lavigne in Winooski, VT, they had 4 children and she died in 1916. I hope this helps.
