May be I found something: I have a Pierre Chagnon who could be the Octave's brother. Parents are Joseph-François-Xavier Chagnon and Marie-Louise-Lucie Paquet from Vercheres. This Pierre m. to 1 Melina Brouillette (2 Elise Levesque 3 Melina Gravel) have children on m 1 : Eva (b.1886-d.1890), Pierre-Adelard ( b.1888), Marie (b.1889), Elphege (b.1892), Emile (b.1894). Names and ages seem ok. This family had moved several times. I have not Octave's name in parents family but I have a first child named Joseph b. 1845 who could be your Octave. (could check b. certificate for others names). Many other children had also moved to Fall River MA : Arthur m.1 Aglae Belanger (Fall River oct 10 1892),m2 Rose-de-Lima Leduc (Fall River feb 17 1896), - Wilfrid m. Clara Bélanger (Fall River jun. 1888) with 4 children m. Fall River.- Adelard m. Delima Durand (Fall River apr 25 1892 (s.fichier Loiselle) - Napoleon m. Rose-Elmire Levesque (Fall River oct 21 1889).
