Wondered if anyone could tell me or direct me to info about 1. How did the Chagnon name become Chagnon dit Larose, 2. history around and before the 1600's on this line, 3. anyone descended from my GT Gt Gt Grandfather, Louis Chagnon and his wife M. Louise Langevin, married in 1812 at Marc sur Richelieu? Would love to hear from you! Thanks!
