Loiselle Marriage Index (Fr. Canadian marriages) lists:
J. Bte. Chagnon, son of Jean-Bte. Chagnon and Charlotte Lafleur
m. Celeste Trudeau, daug. of Francois Chagnon & Charlotte Petit
3 June 1834, Vercheres
This entry is out of order and is found roughly between the alphabetical listings of Hubert Wilfred Chagnon and Isaic(e?) Chagnon. I say "roughly" because I was copying only Chagnon marriages between 1830 and 1859 for the problem I am researching and it's possible that there may have been a few other entries between the two "bookends" I gave you to locate this marriage in the index.
I would also like to get in touch with Barbara Beauregard, but a message sent to her 2002 address on the Chagnon GenForum was returned to me. Might you have her current address?
