May be this will interest you.In the repertoire of families of Ste-Rosalie, QC, I found Georges Chagnon and first wife Theonaide (written Zenaide) Lajoie (second being Pulcherie Dupont m. oct 1 1877 St-Césaire QC) having lived there and had a child baptised there she is Marie Rosalie b.31 bapt. 31 jan 1877. (same year of the second marriage)
There is only mention of the presence in the village and nothing about marriage or parents. Knowing that,I will check this birth certificate for gr-parents possible as god-fathers and other Chagnon families there.
A doubt with two nouns Zenaide and Theonaide, but I have no other similarities.
