hi, looking for any help in tracing my name to back generations. my grandfather theodore lived his life in newfield, n.y. tompkins county. all i know of my greatgrandfather was his name was william and he was married to a woman named bertha. he died before my father or me ever met him. i heard bejamin chaffee circa 1792 had many children who lived in this area, any help would be appreciated.
