Thanks to your message and the reply by Steve Schrader I think I may find out more about my family. I don't think its the rotten part because the names dont match but in Steves reply he mentions the Samuel7Chaffee line born in Enfield Ct 1801 and died in Redwing Minnesota1856. My grandmother Sophia was born in Enfield in1835 of a father named Samuel and was active in a church in Redwing. Her first two children were born in Minnesota. She married a William Fuller Holt 1859 Letting you know and posting this in case any one else knows any thing
