Dear Paul, Thank you for the information. I'm not sure that I want to purchase a copy of the book, especially not for just two pages! I have a feeling it is expensive. My goal is to link my Joseph Chaffey (Chaffee) to at least his father. Do you have any idea what it means when no parents are listed , but that unknow name appears under relatives. "Amos Pierre Fordham)" It isn't only my suspected group, but quite a few other Chaffe, Chaffee, Chaffeys where there are no parents or only one parent listed? I told a cousin about the Vermont bookstore but, I can't recall where I saw it listed. I had no idea until I started this family history search that there were so many variations on the spelling and mistakes caused by handwritten documents, certificates, records, census takers and church baptism books. Even family bibles have given names wrong. Joseph's marriage record was written as "Carey". My gr. grandfather's birth was recorded as Chafey as was his baptism record. One land record had them under Chiffy. One census under Shafey. You wonder why I am in a state of confusion? Thanks again, Paul, Helen
