Daniel,
Hi! I'm glad to get to talk to you. I haven't been able to write back because I lost access to a computer for a while, but have now acquired a brand new Gateway! I have info on the very first Adna for you. He was the son of Truman B. Chaffee and one of twelve children. He was born on April 14,1842 in Orwell, OH. Adna died in LA on Nov. 1,1914. Lt. Gen. Chaffee is buried at Arlington (obviously)
