Benjamin Chaffey and wife Frances Ellswood came to Brockville, Ontario, Canada, in 1812. They had a daughter, Emily (1829-1859), who married an artist, Frederick W. Lock. Emily had brothers who moved to California and Australia where they developed irrigation projects. I am interested in the brothers Chaffey and their history. I would first want to find out their names. I don't know if the Chaffee-Chaffey spelling is a problem.
