What are you interested in finding out?
If you are looking for family lineage it would help if you could give info on your grandfather Chaffee and Great grandfather Chaffee. There is a genealogy on the Chaffee family but it was published in 1908 and covers members up to about the end of the 19th century.
There are a number of cousins who are ready to provide you with information if they know where to begin.
