Found following info in "The Chaffee Genealogy" by William Chaffee, The Grafton Press, 1909. Richard Mahlon Chaffee, b. Oct 23, 1853 in Sheshequin (Hornbrook), PA. Married Adelia Elliott. Son of Charles7, Sullivan6, Calvin5, James4, Joseph3, Joseph2, and Thomas1 Chaffee. No further info on his descendants, but lots on his ancestors.
Lots of info on Chaffee Family Tree in Broderbun Software's Family Tree Maker CD set and site support. The Chaffee book is no longer protected by copyrite and should be available in many genealogy libraries. Could you send me info on Richard's descendants? My mother, who grew up in Hiawatha KS, was a Chaffee (Elizabeth, Herbert, Corwin, Warren, Otis, Atherton, David, Nathaniel, Thomas).
