I am seeking written documents pertaining to Annis Minerva Chaffee (1806-1892) and A. J. Huestis (1805-1883) who married in 1833.
I am particularly interested in correspondence between Annis and her family (parents and siblings). She is the daughter of Chadwick Chaffee and Abigal Moulton and was born 22 May 1806, Monson, MA.
Her siblings include: Freeborn Moulton Chaffee, James Austin Chaffee, Ira Chaffee, Lotheta Franklin Chaffee Road, Orinda Monger Chaffee Davis, Abigail Rebecca Chaffee Smith, Stephen Chaffee, Almond S. Chaffee, Merrick Chaffee (married name not known), Calvin Chaffee and Julius C. Chaffee.
While I am hoping to write a biography of her husband, I would like to tell part of that story through her eyes. I know that she wrote letters to her family and am in hopes that at least some of them still exist.
