Hello all:
I am researching the family of John Chadwick b. ca. 1680 in England, possibly the son of Francis, who is the son of Nicholas deChadwick. Francis supposedly took his son to Bermuda prior to coming to America. John married Joanna Reynolds, b. ca. 1685, prior to 1713 when they had a son, John, Jr.. Joanna is the daughter of William Reynolds and Sarah Young of Smith's Parish, Bermuda. John and Joanna eventually end up in Monmouth Co., NJ by the time of their son John's birth. I have found no further information on siblings for John, Jr. and only know that John, Sr. and Joanna died within 3 months of each other in 1739 in Monmouth Co. John Jr. married Anne Martha Jackson and they had a slew of children, one of which, Elihu, the youngest, is my gr.gr.gr.gr.grandfather. I have a lot of information on this family beginning with John Sr. and his wife to share, but need clarification of Francis and Nicholas. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
