Samuel Chadwick was born 1769, married Elizabeth Pierce in 1789 in Putney, VT and moved to Fletcher, VT. They later moved to Fairfax, VT and, in abt. 1814, moved to Granville, Licking Co., OH. Samuel died there on Aug. 11, 1820. Their children were: Samuel, Jr, Lorin, Ebenezer, David, Mary, Elizabeth, Amelia, Daniel, Almira, Horace, Adaline, Malinda,
Rufus, Lorin.
During their time in Vermont, several other Chadwicks lived in the Fletcher/Fairfax area: William Chadwick, Eunice Chadwick Thurston, Moses Chadwick, Peter Chadwick and David Chadwick.
Some contend that Samuel's parents were William Chadwick and Eunice Goss. Does anyone have any PROOF of this? Does anyone know the relationship among the various Chadwicks living in Fletcher/Fairfax?
