Hi all,
Still trying to find where/when my GGmother Mary Hodgins,Hodgins was brn,and what happened to her after 1900.
Mary was brn abt 1831(per the `1900 Anderson Co TN cencus NC),and (Widowed)was living in the household of her son John Chadwick,and family. Also in the same household was her 2 Gsons(John's nephew) Robert Chadwick age 18 brn TN,and Oliver Chadwick age 17 brn GA. Mary's son John went to Laurel Co KY abt 1910,and Mary wasn't with them,and haven't been able to find her after 1900. Did she die in TN or KY,cannot find that info!no death cert,no nothing!.
It is possible that she re-married, also another headache.
I do believe she had 3 sons still living in 1900,and I believe the names were my Gfather John Chadwick brn abt 1860 GA,died abt 1917 Bell Co KY,Abraham Abe Chadwick brn abt 1854 Ga,died abt 1920's Bradley Co?TN,James Jim Chadwick brn abt 1870's GA/TN?died abt 1950's OK..
Mary's Gson Robert may have married a Ellen McSpadden,and lived in Bell Co KY,TN,and CO,died abt 1930's near Dalton GA. I believe Oliver married a Belle Randolph Cates,and lived in Bradley Co Cleveland TN when he died.
Mary may have went to Bradley Co TN with Robert,and Oliver abt 1900/1901,but haven't been able to find her there,or did she go to Co with Jim Chadwick.Jim I believe lived on a Indian Rez,and owned some Oil or Railroad property,because some of the Chadwick's were getting Royalties from something or somebody from OK,an Estate was settled there in the 1950's.
Any info would be very appreciated.
