Roy, I am not exactly sure how the information in your post fits into what I know about the Chadwick family. Could you provide the full names, birth/death dates, and birth/death locations for your line as far back as you know? From what I gather, your grandfather was a John Chadwick born around 1860. If your line is connected to mine somehow, it is possibly through John Franklin Chadwick (born April 18, 1860, Georgia), son of Edwin F. Chadwick and Mary Ann "Polly Ann" Brown or John Chadwick (born about 1863, North Carolina), son of Abraham Chadwick and Margaret Evaline Silver. I cannot identify the Mary Chadwick (born 1831, NC) listed on the 1900 Anderson, TN Census, nor can I currently verify that this John is related to my Chadwicks. His wife Minerva does not match the listed spouse for John Chadwick (son of Abe) - my sources list a Georgia Ann Bell as his wife. However, this John did die in Tennessee (Ooltewah, TN) and was buried in McDonald, TN. My Mary Ann "Polly" Chadwick was listed in the 1900 Precinct 5, McLennan, TX census. If you can provide some more detailed information, perhaps we can make a connection. If you like, you can e-mail me directly at travisself@cox.net. Thanks!
