Gurdon Chadwick 1778/Hannah Sullard 1846 Marriage in 1798 RI?

I have found a listing in Rhode Island Vital Records 1630 - 1850:
"Chadwick, Gurdon age 19 and Hannah Sullard age 52 Lyme, Ct after courtship of 3 weeks. Chronicled Feb 1, 1798"

This same wording is listed later under Hannah Sullard but with Gurdon "Chandler".

The 1800 census--CT, New London, Lyme:
"Gurdon Chadwick -- 1-male to 25 and 1-female 45 and up"

This Gurdon died 1801 had one son, also Gurdon, born 1800.
Does anyone else have this ancestor or records of this marriage. I find it hard to believe she had a child at age 54, but it is not impossible.

Cannot find any Gurdon Chandler in 1800.
