Hi! I was excited to see that you had Chadwicks in Mo. I am searching for info on my g gradmother, Marta Amanda Chadwick, b 1858 in Boone Co. Mo.
On her death certificate it listed her father as J.D. Chadwick, & mother unknown.
I've always been told that she was Indian.
She was supposed to have been married to a Broomfield or Brumfield & been in Grayson Co. Tx about 1880 or 90 & had some daughters (names unknown) & a son named James. I don't know what happened to that marriage, but she married my g grandfather , Richard Taylor & lived in Archer County the rest of her life.
