Oh, my gosh !! We have found a missing link ! I have a copy of a will (1923) of Isabell H. Chadwick, which names William M. Chadwick, her son; Fern G (or J) Chadwick, his wife; of Oklahoma City. Also named are my grandfather, Harold Chadwick; his sister, Florence E. Chadwick; other Chadwick's in Cicero, IL.; some Deming's of Elm Grove, NY, and others in Spencerport and Rochester, NY. A later deed (1924) has property in Ogden, NY, going from William M and Fern Chadwick to Florence Chadwick Anderson. There is more, but this is enough to show a definite connection. My uncle visited the area several years ago, and the old house is still there. This is so exciting, because this is the branch of the family we have been searching for. Please email me so we can compare notes.
