Hi,
I have been doing a little research for a friend in Texas, she is also researching the Chadwick family, here is what I have found so far.

1857 Birth in the Registration District of Rochdale in the Sub-District of Wardleworth in the County of Lancaster.
Ninth June 1857 at George Street, Rochdale. John Shackleton son of Joseph Heap (Fulling Miller (journeyman)) and Ann Heap formerly Shackleton.
The informant was Joseph Heap, father of Caldershaw, Spotland.
Registered 11 July 1857.
John Renshaw, registrar.

1861 Birth in the Registration District of Rochdale in the Sub-District of Butterworth in the County of Lancaster.
Second March 1861, Stoneppitfield, Butterworth. Harriet, daughter of James Chadwick (cotton powerloom weaver) and Ann Chadwick formerly Wild.
Informant: X the mark of Ann Chadwick, mother of Stonepitfield, Butterworth.
Registered 13th March 1861.
Joseph Haigh, registrar.
