can't ID your John, but mine (4 of them) started with John b. 1601 Eng. d. Malden, MA abt 1680. See Notes on Desc. of John and Joan Chadwick compiled by A D Kilham Lib of congress cat card 3 66-30738. See Gen & Hist of Watertown (MA) by Bond For another line starting with a John. Good luck, Ted
