Looking for his parents and where he was born.
Micajah was married to Sarah Hatch in Falmouth, MA 26 Nov 1789, had several children, including my wife's 4th great-grandfather, Oliver Chadwick.
Micajah died, age 40, on 3 Feb 1802 and is buried in East End Cemetery, Hatchville Rd, Hatchville, Falmouth, Barnstable, MA.
Neither Falmouth nor other towns in Barnstable County (Cape Cod) have any record of his birth.
But there is an interesting, added piece of information, another Chadwick -- Barnabus -- had several dealing with him, including having his name appear of legal documents. Barnabus also married a Hatch -- Elizabeth. And they named a son, Micajah, born 13 May 1802, four months after the death of the earlier Micajah. Also there is no record in Barnstable County of Barnabus' parents, either!
Does any have any information? Are they Chadwicks who returned from North Carolina to Falmouth, MA?
