The research for the Chadwicks has been done by my husbands uncle.
Children of Elias Chadwick and Ellen Strettall m. April 24th
1766 in Eccles Parish Church.
1. James
2. Strettall died before 1808 m. Grace Bolton
3. Elias Chadwick b. 1775 in Swinton Hall d. 1825
m. Alice Arrowsmith August 14th 1806
4. MARGARET CHADWICK m. Thomas Seddon.
Elias Chadwick and Alice Arrowsmith are my husbands 4th great grandparents.
Children of Elias Chadwick and Alice Arrowsmith:
1. Henry Strettall Chadwick b. July 1807 Swinton Hall d. 1889 m. Elizabeth Pearce 1848 at St James Westminster London
were my Husbands 3rd Gr Grandparents.
2. Elias Chadwick b. 1813 at Swinton Hall d. 1876 at Pudleston Court, Leominster Hereford m. Ellen Seddon, his first cousin, daughter of his Aunt Ellen Seddon, in 1840.
3.Ellen Chadwick b. 1818 m. Rev Samuel Broomhead - Ward
4. Elizabeth Chadwick
5. Frances Chadwick b. 1822 Pudelston Court d. 1892 in Leominster, m. Thomas Archer Colt 1849 in Pudelston.
I don`t have anything about a Peggy but I can mail my husbands Uncle tonight and ask him. am I right in thinking that you are connected to the Seddon line?
I have quite a bit of information about the rest of the Chadwicks both forward and back to Nicholas De Chadwyk not
only dates but also information about events if you are interested.
