I read your post, saying you are a desendent of Samuel Chadwick. Also you mentioned a book Grandpa was a whaler. I was just in Gastonia looking for that book. Is there any way you know for me to get a copy. My brother told me he met someone at work said she was related to the chadwick's. She told my brother about the book. He was working in Charlotte nc at the time. I've just started trying to track down roots, but I'm orginally from R.I. I have my grandfather's name and great-grand father's name. But don't know really how to get started. I would appreciate any help! Thank-you BCB
