Looking for information on Edwin Chadwick born about 1811 in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, England. He married about 1835-36 Mary Dorby/Darby who was born in Heanor, Derbyshire, England. First two children born in Ilkeston and then they moved to Wednesbury, Staffordshire, England.
Have traced them on 1841 & 1851 Census but lost them in 1861. Found oldest child William in 1881 Census Staffordshire. What happened to Edwin & Mary and the rest of the family? William is my gg-grandfather and came to America in 1882 with his family. Who were Edwin's parents?
Who were Mary's parents? Any information is appreciated. Thanks, Margaret
