Chacon / Acosta Tx and Allende, Coahuila
I'm helping a friend a son of Roman Chacon b. 1900 and Librada Acosta. Roman came to US in 1924.He lived in southern Texas and worked for awhile in Michigan's auto industry but, returned to TexasRoman had two brothers and two sisters. Eulogico, Placido, Liuisa (Saiz) and Refugia (Estrada). I believe all came from Allende, Coahuila. I also believe he had half bros and sisters. Leonara, Candelario, Eusebio (aka Pedro Flores) maybe the last name was Marintz or Martinez? Roman's mother was Eulalia Lopezand his father unknown Chacon. According to Immigration recordsRoman had unclesnamed Bartolo and Leonardo Lopez. Librada Acosta's father's name was Miguel. According to a present Chacon family member's oral history Acosta may have been an assumed name.Degollado? Something to do with their immigrating during the revolution. I'm up to speed on Roman and brother Eulogio going forward. My friend is most interested in family and associations in Mexico.
Thanks for the read!
