Benjamin b. Mar. 8, 1815 , d. June 17, 1886, married Hester Hoppes moved to Troy, OH. From there he moved to Wayne Co., IN and then to Delaware Co., IN. His father was David, the 3rd son of Adam and Maria Catherine Mertz Zehner of Schuylkill Co.,, PA. David was born in Berks Co., PA, Dec. 30, 1763. He served in the militia between the Revolution and War of 1812. He died April 2, 1839 and is buried in the Zion Cemetary south of Tamaqua, PA. Adam Zehner was born in Germany in 1726 and came to America in 1746. He died in 1809 and is buried near David in the Zion Cemetary. Adam served in the Revolutionary War. His parents were David and Sabina Mertz of Wuerttemberg. Hope this helps.
