Dear Timothy,
We have a Jacob Yoho, born around 1843 born to James(1802-1873)and Isabelle Mullins Yoho(1804-?)in our family tree. He was the seventh of ten children. He had a brother Samuel(b.1849),per your tombstone question. Jacob's brother James(1838-1912)married Hester Ann Finley on 12/22/1859. We don't have any info on Jacob Yoho so I can't help you there, but we do have several cases of brothers marrying sisters. James Yoho, father to Jacob, was the eldest of two sons born to Jacob Yoho(1765-1851) and Margaret Daily(1765-1846). James' brother John Yoho(1807-?) was my gggg grandfather. Our history states that the Yoho's came from Switzerland, migrated to Germany, then to Holland before coming to America. It is said that seven or so brothers came to the states and two went to N.Y., two to V.A./W.V. two in P.A. and one was killed in Ohio. Also keep in mind that the region of Alsace has switched hands between France, Germany, and Switzerland over the past several centuries. I hope some of this info helps you. Take care and good luck!
