Tim: Assuming this is the correct Jacob and Margaret, here is the way it falls out:
Gen 1. John Michael Joho, born abt. 1678 at Sulzthal, Alsace, France (There is a Sulzthal in central Germany, but we haven't been able to locate one in Alsace. However, we are quite sure the Joho records can be found in the historic Luthern Church at Lembach, Alsace). John was a meat cutter and m Susanna Gelker.
Gen 2. Johannes Joho b 1712 d aft 1795 in Wv. m Susanna Catherine Lau on 1 Mar 1735. He was a wooden shoe maker. She was born in 1704 and is daughter of Theobald Lau. They arrived in Philadelphia in 1738 on the ship, Two Sisters, embarking in Rotterdam.
Gen 3. Jacob Yoho b 8 July, 1765 at Beaver, Pa. d 24 Aug 1851 Guernsey Co. Ohio, buried at Batesville, Independence, Ohio Yoho Cemetery. (We have no written proof that Jascob is the son of Johannes, but strongly suspect he is). He married Margaret Daily b abt 13 Jan 1775 d 1 Aug 1846 buried in same cemetery.
Gen 4. James Yoho b 24 Apr 1802 in Ohio d 31 Mar 1873 in Ohio m Isabelle Mullins on 11 Jun 1823. She was b abt 11 Sept 1804 d 12 Apr 1883 in Ohio.
Gen 5. Jacob Yoho b 24 Dec 1842 m Margaret Ann Finley in 1868 in Ohio.
I have no further info on Jacob or his descendents. Hope this is of help to you. Contact me here or at firstname.lastname@example.org, if you wish further info.
Good luck, Hugh Yoho
