Betty, I just answered my own question by looking at Diane's list on the forum here. Jesse Yocum and Diana How Denton married May 12, 1787 in Mercer Co. KY. Diana was heir to John Denton. Their children were: 1.John Yocum, d about 1825, Prob. Liberty CO., TX m Adelia Coleman Mar 3, 1823, St. Landry Parish. LA. 2. Sarah "Sally" Yocum, m James Wilson July 11, 1809, St. Landry Par. LA 3. James W. Yocum d before Oct. 14, 1840 4. Matthias Yocum b about 1790, d about 1826 5. Mary "Polly" Yocum b Jan 8, 1794 6. Thomas D. Yocum Born abour 1796, married Pamelia Peace, January 9, 1814, St. Landry Parish LA d Sept 19 1841 Jefferson Co., TX 7. Elizabeth "Liza" b Mar 24, 1802 m Isaiah Lawrence 8. Catherine "Kitty" Yocum b Mar 24, 1802, m 1823 to Jacob Montgomery Shannon d Jan 1 1892 Montgomery Co.,TX Liza and Kitty were twins. 9. Martha "Patsy" Yocum, b Mar 20 1804 m James Callier, John Rutherfors and Zacharia Jones 10. Julia Ann Yocum, b June 9, 1808 and there were others. I will send in another email. But, yes, this is the estate of this Matt. Notice Martha's husbands. James Callier/Collier her first husband was my kin. Quite a story there. Sue M.
