Jared -- I am from the Yantis of Ohio line, and our ties with the Yandes are generally pegged at when the Yantis/Yandes/Gentes line came over from Germany at the end of the 18th century. I spent some time on the web searching and ran across the letters from Simon on his family. If I find any more, I'll be certain to post it here.
