Looking for family ties for my GGrandfather James Winecup, b. c1821 in VA, m. Charlotte Harward 4 Dec 1844, Morgan County, OH. Migrated to Wapello County, IA c.1866. The 1880 census indicates that James parents were both born in VA, and I am told that the family previously was in NY. I understand that Ohio relatives retained the Wyncoop spelling, but I have yet to identify them.
