I am looking for info on my ancestors that lived in Sheridan. My greatgrandfather was William Wallace Wade, 1882-1951, his sister was Anna Wade Peril, married to Robert Peril (both died in the 1960's). William was married to Elsie Converse Wade, and they had three children, Dorothy, Robert and James. They are on the 1920 census in Sheridan, and by 1930 William and Elsie were divorced and William and the children are still in Sheridan. I also have information that Elsie's father, Robert Converse, was in prison around Sheridan around the early 1900's. My grandmother Dorothy, married a Keith Sullivan, and the family lived in Sheridan in the 1940's. Is anyone out there linked to the Wade, Converse or Peril families? Can anyone give me any ideas as to what resources I could use to find out more about any prison time spent by my g-g grandfather? Any help would be appreciated.
