During the late 60's and early 70's in that part of Wyoming there was a lot of oil field activity. I say this because you list the father as a oil field worker. Although, accurate records were kept of the drilling none were usually kept of the people who worked these wells. But, you also state a grandfather working in a gypsum mine. I don't remember exactly where they are but, there aren't very many in Wyoming. This could possibly help narrow down where your parents actually lived. Many women at the time who were going to give up their babies for adoption did this through the Catholic church or through an orphanage at Torrington, Wy or through private adoption. I bet if you can narrow down what town they actually lived you can find someone in that town still today who knows your story. The towns in Wyoming are so small everyone knows everyone else's business.
