Hi Richard - Thanks for your reply to my inquiry. I have not yet received an I.D.P.F. but have written to the U.S. Army Human Resources Command, Causualty & Memorial Affairs. They answered back stating that it will take about four months to gather the information I requested. I also wrote to the U. S. Army Heritage & Education Center & the New York Public Library. These are the places that were recommended by the National Personnel Records Center in St. Louis. I already have a few documents that I got from Ancestry.com & other WWII researchers including the autopsy report & an eye witness statement from the Belgian citizen who was with Cecil when he was murdered.
Just wanting to cover as many bases as I can. :-)
