To Richard Horrell, thank you for your interest in my post. You are correct about the two bronze campaign stars on the ETO campaign ribbon. That was my mistake. However my Grandfather was awarded a single Bronze Star I received it after talking to a person from the St. Louis records center, among the other medals and ribbons I received was the ETO campaign ribbon with the two campaign stars. Again thank you for your interest in my post. Although I will say I did not care for the tone of you reply to my post, I felt that you were trying to accuse me of some wrong doing. I can assure you my only goal is to learn as much about my Grandfather's service to his country, of which I am very proud of. I hope this puts the matter to rest as far as our post exchanges. Dean K.
