I see on the CA genforum that the daughter has been found. Congratulations! I also just found a newspaper item, dated Jan 23, 1974, Yuma Daily Sun and AZ SEntine:
Invetigation Ends in Parker Death:
The death of Barbara Jean Hoffbauer, 46, North Hollywood CA was due to natural causes, said Yuma Co. Sheriff's Sgt Jack Hooker. Hooker said nothing to indicate foul play. Parker Coroner James Fuqua stated that the autopsy report said the cause of death was undetermined and needed further tests. Mrs. Hoffbauer's body was found Thursday in a mobile home at Parker. She had a bruise of her right cheek, deputies said. Her husband, Karl Hoffbauer, 49, said she sustained the bruise when she fell against the couch in their mobile home the night before she died. At that time she refused to see a Doctor, Hoffbauer added.
Hope you hear from the daughter.
