Thank you for responding, Michael. I try not to ask people to do much searching for me. But I need some help with interpreting what I have found. I have copies of the NARA abstracts for serviceman Edgar W Miller, service # 14004593.
With further searching, I found: Miller, E 55328 listed on a website for POW Camps in Germany. This Miller, E is on the list for Barracks #23 of Stalag 9B. I do not know if it is the same serviceman or not.
Some of my confusion comes from his Enlistment Record "Enlistment for the Philippine Department"; 4 years later he is in a POW camp in Prussia.
Other than his IPDF are there other records that would show where he went after enlistment?
Edgar W Miller came home after the war so we know he survived imprisonment.
Thank you for your opinion and suggestions of where to look next.
