Are you referring to the 145th Infantry Regiment, Ohio National Guard, that departed the San Francisco Port of Embarkation May 26, 1942? Onboard the SS Uruguay & USAT James Parker, the 145th Infantry Regiment arrived at Auckland, New Zealand, June 12, 1942. Is this the unit you have a question about? Richard V. Horrell
