Patty, thank you so much for your kindness, on dads birth certificate it simply says that Robert.C.Carlton was a serviceman but the family story from my uncles is that he was an American sailor,its just so frustrating to have so little information to go on and i really do appreciate any help that you would be kind enough to help me with.
