My far relative Charles Moschero, born in Canischio 9(Italy) on August 23 1883 emigrated in the US (I don't know when)
In the Italian Foglio Matricolare (Registration Card) of the Distretto of IVREA I read this information:
Soldier if the 1th Class born in the year 1889 sent on leave by the Consulateof Chicago on Sep.18 1905. He was exempted from military service because emigrated in the US.
In Italy he was called to serve the country on May 22 1915. He did not arrive there because he lived in the US.
In my search I found his registration card (as Chas Moschero) n.29 of June 5 1917 of FERGUS (MONTANA).

My problem is this:
As is found this short sentence written in the Foglio MATRICOLARE N.18668 of the year 1889 of the DIstretto di Ivrea:"It is said he died in France fighting in the American Army"
Can you help me with some more information when and where
he died?
Any information will be appreciated.
Rosa
